One of the first things your going to need to do is to place the maps on your hard
drive and then import them into the program. While the maps could be run directly
from CD's it's not a practice I encourage.
The first thing I suggest to my customers
is create a folder directly on their hard
drive.
Using My Computer, go into your C:
drive or if you have more than one drive,
which ever you want to store your maps
on. Click on Make new folder then
rename the folder to some thing you'll
easily remember like the Fugawi maps
next door.
Then resize the window so it
doesn't fill the whole screen by
clicking on Restore Down in
the upper right corner of your
screen.
After you make the window
smaller, move it off to the right
and with My Computer, open
the DVD/CD drive the map CD
is in. Now Restore down that
window.
Now you should be able to hold down the left
mouse button on the folder on the DVD/CD and
drag it to the folder on your hard drive, copying all
all sub folders and files at once. You now have all
the maps for that lake on your hard drive.
Now if you click on the gray
area of the very bottom of the
screen this menu will open.
Clicking on Tile Windows
Vertically will set the two
windows side by side.
